Learn to make a cozy, fluffy vest using the Cocoknits method! In this class, you'll learn to knit the vest from the top down, create pockets using short-row shaping, and put in a zipper.
Designer Julie Weisenberger's signature system, taught in the Cocoknits Sweater Workshop, has been developed and refined over years of knitting, designing, and teaching thousands to knit. She has created a visual way to track knitting progress by customizing a color-coded Worksheet that guides you through the creation of a complete sweater.
Materials: Flynn Pattern, yarn for your size, needles to obtain needles to obtain gauge, stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle. We recommend Flette Bulky for this cozy textured look.
Homework: Please come to the first class with your pattern purchased, yarn selected, and your swatch knit. We’ll give you swatching instructions when you choose your yarn.
There is homework knitting in between classes.
Skill Level: Students should have completed Knit 2 or completed several small projects on their own and are comfortable with knitting and purling.

Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is needed to reserve your space. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the first class for a store credit or to move to a different class or session. We cannot offer a store credit if we receive less than 3 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up sessions, so please make sure you can attend each class. If a class is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.
Classes with special guest teachers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend.
