I would suggest that this yarn is not for inexperienced knitters. It is lovely but I find that it is easy to add stitches by mistakenly picking up the “halo”. I am 86 and have been knitting since I was about 7 or 8 years of age using all types of yarn. This while lovely is kind of sticky…odd to say…but I do have to pay pretty close attention. Lovely feel to it…

Purchased Kisses to use in my hand spun yarn to 2 ply; gave just enough loft and softness to yarn instead of a hat I want to knit a cowl! It's a wonderful yarn for me since I can't wear mohair. I purchased Himalayan Salt, Whisper (white) and Dusk til Dawn. Love this yarn!!
This yarn is soft and silky with a beautiful halo. It has a fuller halo than mohair/silk blends. Really nice subtle tonal variations. I used it as a carry along with a fingering weight hand spun for a scarf.
