Loft was created with the lightweight feel of a handspun yarn for lace and color knitting. And as well as it does with both, it also makes cozy garter stitch blankets and elegant stockinette sweaters.
Loft is 100% American made - wool from Wyoming, dyed and spun in New Hampshire - so you can participate in the rebirth of America's textile industry.
Loft is woolen spun for a lightweight yarn that makes knits that are comfortable to wear, and fleece-dyed color for rich, complex depth and a palette that's ideal for colorwork.

Brooklyn Tweed Loft is a pleasure to work with. I got foothills. I paired it with purples to make a wrap. The colors are beautiful.
I knit two sweaters with BT Loft yarn. I love the colorways it’s offered in (I chose Button Jar and Hayloft) and found that it blocks so nicely. Like any wool, it’s rather delicate, so frog with caution (!!), but would recommend this yarn to anyone looking to knit a special and sophisticated sweater.
Kimberly, your sweaters look fantastic. Loft is a little delicate, as you say, but it's easy to splice together should a strand be tugged apart. Thanks for the review.-Laura
Gorgeous yarn, it is light and has great body! Having worked with this yarn before, I can't wait to cast on the perfect sweater for the fall and winter.
Love the color, Caraway. Made the Weekender sweater from this yarn so I know not to pull at it too hard. It can break easily but makes a beautiful fabric.
I bought the Loft to make the Jujika cowl. I am 3/4 done and think it will be a very scratchy cowl to wear. I would have preferred a smoother yarn.
