Fair Isle knitting is a centuries-old technique of using two colors in the same row to create beautiful designs in your knitting. You’ll learn to hold and manage your yarns while maintaining your tension while knitting a colorful cowl with traditional motifs.
Materials: Pattern included, 3 colors of DK weight yarn: 50 g of 2 contrasting colors and 100g of the main color; 16-inch size US 4 and US 6 circular needles, stitch markers, and darning needle.
Homework: Using the smaller needle, cast on 132 stitches and work K1, P1 rib for 1 inch.
Skill level: This class is for graduates of Knit 2 or those who are comfortable knitting and purling in the round.

Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is needed to reserve your space. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the first class for a store credit or to move to a different class or session. We cannot offer a store credit if we receive less than 3 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up sessions, so please make sure you can attend each class. If a class is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.
Classes with special guest teachers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend.

I have nothing but good things to say about this class! Colorwork was something I never thought I could do, and the class made it much less intimidating. Now I'm hooked.

I took this class 11/12 and 11/19 -- it was wonderful! The instructor was terrific -- clear directions and handouts, and very patient with a new knitter. I highly recommend it.
