Fix the mistakes that every new knitter encounters! Learn to pick up dropped stitches, change a knit to a purl, un-knit (we call it “tinking”), and plain ole’ rip back (known as “frogging”).
You’ll finish class with a better understanding of how knitted fabric is made and the ability to fix those pesky mistakes!
Materials: 50 grams of smooth, light-colored worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles; size E or F crochet hook.
Homework: Cast on 24 stitches and work Stockinette stitch for approximately 4 inches. Keep stitches on the needle and yarn attached to the ball.
Skill level: This class is for graduates of Knit 2 and those who are comfortable knitting and purling.
Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is needed to reserve your space. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the first class for a store credit or to move to a different class or session. We cannot offer a store credit if we receive less than 3 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up sessions, so please make sure you can attend each class. If a class is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.
Classes with special guest teachers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend.
