I made a winter baby sleeper - the Coco Knits Baby Bear. It was lovely to knit with and turned out just as I wanted.
The colors of Big Bad wool are absolutely lovely, and the wool feels delightful. However, when I tried both knitting and crocheting with it, I found it just too soft. I tend to like very crisp stitch definition and a fairly firm fabric, so this may be a very personal reaction.
The yarn was wonderful to work with and very warm. The Customer Service was excellent. I will order again from Loop. Thank you.
I used the Skunky colorway for the Loops Marled Weepaca Watch Cap. The yarn is smooth and pleasant to knit with. It creates a soft, cozy hat. Winters here in Minnesota are cold and long, and I am tempted to order more for a second version with a folded brim to wear on really cold days. I think it would also be great for a long cowl.
I loved knitting these caps with Bid Bad Wool. I bought the Grey Wolf and Grader to make the hats for all of the males for whom I knit. I did several all one color and others in a combination of the colors. In fact, I had to call the store to replenish my supply of the yarn the hats were so popular.
