Our Bergman Sweater class is the perfect introduction to the world of colorwork sweater knitting! In this class, you’ll learn to knit a sweater from the top down all in one piece while knitting a colorwork yoke!
Materials: Bergman Pattern, worsted weight yarn for your chosen size, needles to obtain gauge, stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle.
Homework: Please come to the first class with your pattern purchased, yarn selected, and your swatch knit. We’ll give you swatching instructions when you choose your yarn.
Skill level: This class is for graduates of Knit 2 and those who are comfortable knitting in the round.
Saturdays, January 11 + 18, February 1 + 8 from 12:30- 2PM
Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is needed to reserve your space. Supplies are not included in class fee unless stated.
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the first class for a store credit or to move to a different class or session. We cannot offer a store credit if we receive less than 3 days notice. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up sessions, so please make sure you can attend each class. If a class is canceled, you’ll receive a full refund.
Classes with special guest teachers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a friend if you’re unable to attend.
All classes are for students 18 years of age and older.
