A winning combination of pattern and yarn, our Pressed Flowers Cowl is so pretty! We combined Feederbrook Farms Entropy DK with Kelbourne Woolens Scout to make this mosaic beauty!
Entropy DK shows off all the fun barber pole colors - and it's so soft! We paired a bright colorway with a dark skein of Scout to help all those color changes pop!
The Pressed Flowers Cowl was designed by Amy Christoffers and is a fun way to dip your needles into the world of slipped-stitch knitting, also referred to as mosaic knitting.
This piece is knitted flat and when you've reached your desired length, you'll seam your cast-on edge and your bound-off edge together to turn it into a cowl. Although the colorwork looks complex, it's achieved by simply slipping unworked stitches from one needle to the other as you change colors - there are no Fair Isle floats or concern for tension issues here, just easy knitting with plenty of satisfying color!
To knit this cowl, you'll need:
- 1 skein of Entropy DK - we use symbiosis.
- 1 skein of Kelbourne Woolens Scout - we used plum.
- US 6 24" circular needles
