Behold the Pink Lemonade scarf! We made the original scarf in our summery Pink Lemonade colorway (hence the name!), and now we've updated it for cold weather in one of our new colorways: Lagoon!
Knit using our Loop Sprig and Loop Posy; this design is made for knitting on cozy weekend getaways or curled up at home!
While this pattern resembles lace knitting, it's worked as a simple mosaic motif. Mosaic knitting is achieved by alternating 2 strands of yarn and slipping stitches, but you only knit with one strand at a time. This makes for simple knitting and a big visual impact!
While mosaic knitting typically alternates colors to look like colorwork, we alternated fingering weight Sprig with laceweight Posy to create an intricate yet easy-to-knit texture.
Sprig works up into columns and rows of structured stitches, while Posy creates little windows of gauzy transparency that make the scarf extra light and lofty.
Pink Lemonade is a generous size that can be worn over the shoulder shawl-style or scrunched and wrapped as a fluffy scarf. Because the fabric is so lofty, it compresses, removing any bulk around your neck!
After blocking, Pink Lemonade measures approximately 11" x 60"- perfect for one wrap and not too much excess length!
